Mr Muzak recommissioned

BBC Radio 4 have commissioned a second series of Richie Webb's sitcom Mr Muzak. The four new episodes will once again star Richie as performance-shy cocktail pianist Nigel Penny - and his continuing battle to avoid the limelight. Jess Robinson and Paul G Raymond will reprise their roles in the show which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in summer 2020.

All three series of Richie Webb's sitcom 'The Music Teacher', and both series of Dave Lamb's 'Hobby Bobbies' are now available to listen to in their entirety on BBC Sounds. Joining them there are all eight episodes of the Boom Jennies comic mini-adventures 'Mission Improbable'.

Mr Muzak - Nominated for BBC Audio Drama Award

Richie Webb's sitcom Mr Muzak has been nominated for a 2018 BBC Audio Drama Award. The show - set in the world of hapless cocktail pianist Nigel Penny - is on the shortlist in the Best Scripted Comedy (Longform) Category for the prestigious award.

Mr Muzak - in the studio

Recording has taken place of Richie Webb's new Radio 4 sitcom Mr Muzak. Two episodes have been commissioned by Radio 4 for the Sunday evening comedy slot. The show is a spin-off from Richie's successful late night comedy The Music Teacher and features the continuing adventures of performance shy cocktail pianist Nigel Penny.

Rum Bunch on air

The first of four Rum Bunch episodes hits the airwaves on 3rd May at 6.30 as Justin Edwards tries his best to control Mel Giedroyc and David Mounfield as they team up for a gleeful half hour of sketches and musical comedy. The show features a glorious array of sketches and music courtesy of the show's very own house band - Jason Hazeley on piano and David Reed of The Penny Dreadfuls on drums.
